CHURCHES TOGETHER IN WARMINSTER AND DISTRICT

Churches Together in Warminster and District, exists to develop the relationships between the churches and to be a source of spiritual comfort to the people of Warminster.

Proclaiming the Gospel of Jesus Christ and demonstrating
the love of God to the people of the town.

Churches together (CTW) is an interdenominational grouping of Christian churches in Warminster and the surrounding villages. Its basis is that it unites those churches in our area which, acknowledging God’s revelation in Christ, confess the Lord Jesus as God and Saviour according to the scriptures, and in obedience to God’s will and in the power of
the Holy Spirit, commit themselves to:

Seeking a deepening of their communion with Christ and with one another in the Church which is His body.

Fulfilling their mission to proclaim the Gospel by common witness and service in the world.

Working to the glory of one God, Father, Son and Holy Spirit.

We aim to do this by:

Providing means for the Churches represented to develop a deeper understanding of one another.

Enabling the churches to bear a united witness to the community, and by so doing to serve it more effectively.

Meeting and praying together to support these aims.

Various activities have been arranged to help these aims, which have included:

An outreach to the town at Easter with outdoor services on Good Friday.

A Christmas outreach to the town in the shopping mall with a particular focus on the children.

Praise in the Park services during the summer.

A prayer group for Christian Unity
